Hamie and Morag took us to see the historic beech hedge at Meikleour near Coupar Angus, planted in 1745. Officially recognized as the world's tallest hedge, it averages 100' high. The 580 yard-long hedge is cut and measured every 10 years, taking 4 men approximately 6 weeks.
