We made one last visit to the wetlands before we left Mazatlan. The wood storks had gathered on the pile of construction dirt to survey their dried out feeding grounds.

Shortly after we took this photograph, they all left in 2 flocks. 8 flew south, and 11 flew north. We wished them well.
