The cuota took us up and down some big long big hills, and through beautiful arid country. We saw field after field of the agave whose roots are fermented to make Tequila.

Alas, there was no time to stop for photographs. This is a window shot of a village we passed on our way to Tepic, the ancient capital of Nayarit.
