        We began to see more sailboats travelling up or down the Inside Passage. What with the fast currents (tidal range is around 25') through islands and narrow waterways, not too many good anchorages, and the wind either nothing or blowing like stink, it wasn't surprising that we never saw any of them sailing; every last one we saw was under power. This cutter was approaching Ketchikan. Made us homesick for Callipygia.
