Prince Rupert is rich in archeological history. It lies at the heart of the traditional territory of the Tsimshian First Nation and abbuts the lands of the Gitxsan, Nisga'a, Haida and Heiltsuk people. Northwest Coast nations are best known for their ceremonial art and towering totem poles. This log building houses the Museum of Northern BC where we looked at displays of intricate and beautiful works of art made by local artists.
