We stayed at the Park Avenue campground, a short walk to both ferry and downtown Prince Rupert. The campground was pretty busy, though not filled. We arrived near dark and got in line to register with all the other RVs that had disembarked from the ferry. We stayed here 3 nights to meet the schedule for the next ferry and to give us time to explore the area.

Prince Rupert is on Kaien Island, just off the northwest coast of BC, at the western end of the Yellowhead Highway 16. It is roughly 30 miles south of the Alaska border
