Highlights of our stay in Halifax included a visit to the ancient town of Lunenberg, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Here is beautiful St. John's Aglican church, the 2nd oldest such church in Canada.

On Halloween Night in 2001, arsonists set fire to the wooden building that had stood in the centre of town since 1754.

The building has been painstakingly restored to its original condition and had recently re-opened when we visited.
