After a bit more exploring we decided to abandon Gros Morne and our original idea of continuing up Newfoundland's Northern Peninsula and to Labrador for a few days.

We gladly forfeited the 750+ additional miles the Labrador trip wouldhave entailed in favor of more time in the scenic villages around Notre Dame Bay.

So here we are back on the Trans Canada Highway going east across the middle of Newfoundland. The island is big. The interior road seemed endless.
