Deep fog blanketed Rose Blanche when we awoke. We made coffee and departed about 7:30 a.m., creeping along Rte 470 back to Porte Aux Basques.

There was no point in detouring to any of the other fishing villages we wouldn't have been able to see anything.

The scenery along the way (seen here) reminded Pat of the west highlands of Scotland.
