Western Gull
We collected pix of several different gull types this year. Gulls are generally successful - they are mostly oportunistic feeders and have adapted well to human environments.

Gulls species are not easy to identify since they go through many different plumages and may interbreed.

This is an adult Western Gull sitting on a rock near Morro Bay, CA. (11/07)
