Red-breasted Nuthatch, Pictou County, Nova Scotia.

This almost tame little nuthatch came to feed out of Emma's hand near a neighbor's bird feeder. Nuthatches forage down tree trunks for invertebrates, seeds, etc. unlike woodpeckers and creepers which climb upwards.
