At Kootenay's southern edge is Radium Hot Springs. We decided to press on, for now, and not stop today. This photograph shows the Kootenay River bounding Banff National park to the south. This was our last clear view of the Rockies. More forest fires were burning and as we travelled south through BC from here our views were frequently hidden in smoke.
